Well, as you may know, I love talking about recording techniques and the benefits of various methods of capturing an exciting performance from a band.  So when I designed our new website I thought I could devote two whole pages to the subject.


The idea is, if you are a musician who doesn’t know whether he would be better recording to Pro Tools, Tape, Mixing on the Neve, Beat Detecting or mixing down to 1/2” tape.  Then you can come to these pages and read up on the pros and cons of each method. 


Mostly because I’m Lazy but also because I want you all to have an input into these two pages, I have not uploaded them yet.  I want your input!  Engineers and Musicians.  Especially if you’ve recorded at Fortress.
