Razorlight play the Live Lounge @ the Fort
Razorlight were in the studio for a month rehearsing for the release of there forthcoming album Slipway Fires. Radio 1 Filmed Jo Whiley interviewing Johnny Borrell and the boys in the Fortress green room as part of the LIVE LOUNGE tour. The boys even recorded their cover of Queens Of The Stone Age's No One Knows at the Studios to be featured on the LIVE LOUNGE CD. The film was featured on the Radio 1 website and the Boys gave us a great plug! To view the pictures.

THE LAUREL COLLECTIVE
Pals of Molotovs, this band has got me all excited. Great stage presence and amusing to watch as well as pleasing on the ear! This is what Bob, one half of the vocals says...
"The mini album on domino subsiduary double 6 got great radio play we count Steve Lamaq and Jon Kennedy as fans and will be putting a new single out early next year.
We have two singers in a duet, we like duets and its also a precaution against one of us dying from drink or drugs- we don't want to have to rope in a dodgy replacement like The Doors if that happens..."
Next gig is 5th November @ Paradise By Way of Kensal Green
Dead Pixels
Dead Pixels are putting a single out that was recorded and mixed at Fortress.

Thirty Degrees Everywhere
Chris from the band says...

So after nearly a year off, dithering about, re-writing a fair few old songs and writing a bunch of new stuff we're back gigging again. The next one's at the purple turtle next month. Its actually going really well, i mean, people actually seem to really like our music, which always surprises me to be honest.
With regards to fortress, we first came when we were still in college for an emergency practice before a gig, just looked it up on the net. Now its pretty much out regular. we've rehearsed at a fair few places, but there aren't any as good.. well that we can afford anyway! It's really just what you want if you're doing the night rehearsals', not in the middle of nowhere, not up to your ankles in grime and scum (actually that might be the best bit! its really clean!) actually no, the best bit's the tea. the beer is all very nice, but ya cant beat a tea.
