An Otari MTR90 24 track 2 inch machine is in the machine room ready to go.  The tape machine is controlled remotely from the control room giving 10 easy locate points.

Our MTR12 1/2 inch 2 track machine is often used to mix down onto, to get a pure analogue signal path or just to add a bit of tape saturation to a suitable mix. 

Remember to check on the price of tape if you think you may use one of our machines.

We sometimes get sessions recording onto tape then bouncing to Pro Tools for editing.  The Pro Tools inputs can be directly patched to the tape machine outputs making the transfer easy and quick.
